PPDP'05 Registration Information and Instructions

To register for PPDP'05 you should use the joint ICALP/PPDP'05 registration form.

Registration categories

ICALP/PPDP'05 and associated satellite workshops have the following three registration categories:

Early: from the opening of the registration (Monday April 18) to Tuesday May 31;
Late: from Wednesday June 1 to Thursday June 30;
On-site: From July 1.

Participant categories

Notice that the lowest fee is only available for ACM/SIGPLAN members.

There are three categories of participants:

ACM/SIGPLAN members: access to all sessions of the conference, proceedings, coffee / tea breaks, reception, excursion, conference dinner and reduced fee
Non-ACM/SIGPLAN Member: access to all sessions of the conference, proceedings, coffee / tea breaks, reception, excursion, and conference dinner.
Students: access to all sessions of the conference, proceedings, coffee / tea breaks and reception.
For the student fee, a signed (e.g. by the head of the department) confirmation of a student status is needed.

ICALP / PPDP Joint Meeting fees (in Euros)

PPDP'05 is co-located with the 32nd International Colloquium on Automata, Languages and Programming (ICALP 2005),. Participants attending both ICALP and PPDP will benefit from the following global reduced fee.

Workshop Registration

There are 8 workshops preceding and following the conference. ICALP participants that also register in at least one workshop will benefit from a 20 Euro discount.

There are two categories of workshop participants:

Regular: access to all sessions of the workshop, informal proceedings, coffee / tea breaks, and lunches;
Students: access to all sessions of the workshop, informal proceedings, coffee / tea breaks, and lunches.

Workshop fees (in Euros)

The following table summarizes the fees for workshop registration. The workshops fee structure is organized in a per workshop basis, so you must add the fees for all workshops you want to attend. Notice that some workshops will run in just one day, while others in two days; so please check carefully what is the duration of the workshops you want to attend. The registration form lists the workshops names with their respective duration (1-Day or 2-Day).

Social Program

Notice that all events of the social program (excursion, dinners, etc.) are included in the registration fees, depending on the registration category, as explained above.

However, access to all such events can be acquired separately, as it might be needed for accompanying people or students.

If for some reason you are not planning to attend some of the events of the social program, even if you are entitled to do it by your registration category, the ICALP/PPDP'05 organization will appreciate if you mark the appropriate check box in the registration form.

Payment

Payments can be made either by credit card (VISA and MasterCard only), or through bank transfer (see Registration Form below).

Cancellation Policy

If you want to cancel after registering for ICALP/PPDP'05 and workshops, 80% of the registration sum will be refunded if you cancel before the early registration deadline (May 31, up to and including). If you cancel your registration after this date, the registration sum will not be refunded.

Accomodation and Conference Hotels

Use the link below to download the hotel reservation form for ICALP/PPDP'05 and the associated workshops. This form is a PDF file that must be filled and sent by FAX to "Viagens Abreu", a local travel agency that is handling ICALP accomodation service. The number clearly printed in the front page of the form. Notice that this FAX number is not the same as the one you should send your registration to.

The Holiday-Inn Continental, Zurique and Berna are very close to each other, and at a short walking distance of the Conference venue. Corinthia, Mercure and Ibis are also not far from each other, and also near the Conference venue. From Miraparque and Fenix you can either take a walk to the Conference venue, or pick up the metro (1-2 stations).

Notice that in order to benefit from the special ICALP/PPDP'05 hotel fares, you must formalize your reservations by sending the hotel registration form to Viagens Abreu during the early registration period (until May 31, 2005).
